This year was great this was one of the best years of school. I did so many things like going to the aquarium, joined the girls volleyball team, going kayaking in Bowen island and doing the ropes course at UBC.  The most memorable moment this year was going to Bowen island. I really enjoyed kayaking, I really had fun playing piano keys on the ocean. When I’d jumped in the water I felt my adrenalineboost up, but it was hard to get back in the kayak. Tomorrow the grade 7′s  are going to Play land. I have a feeling this field trip is going to be fun.  This year was great but I hope next year we’ll be great.  

On Monday all of the grade 7′s went to West Vancouver secondary school.   we sat in the grade 8 cafeteria to wait for the grade 8′s to show us around.  First our grade 8 buddy showed My sister and I the grade 8 campus.  Then we went to the North Campus where we will have some of our classes. The Weirdest thing I saw on the T.V was a little kids show called the Doodlebops. I thought that the Grade 8′s , 9′s, 10′s, 11′s and 12′s didn’t watch those kinds of shows ? then we went to the textiles class and My sister and I tried out the sewing machine. After that my sister and I went to the centre and met the person who works there. Then I saw a sheet that had all of the grade’s on it and the last grade was grade 13. I thought that grade 13 never excised but it turns out that you can stay at West Van High you can stay there untilyou are 19. After that we went back to the cafeteria for a snack. At the cafeteria they had all kinds of things to eat like pizza bagels, burgers, cookies and they had diet pop. After the counselor talked to use we walked back to school. Now I now i’m going to have the best 5 years at West Van High

Today I had a great day because it’s almost the weekend. The weather is gloomy but I feel like a ball of sunshine, Today at lunch we had a craft session making beaded necklaces and bracelets. In choir our music teacher picked who’s going to be on stage for the torch relay, but I didn’t get picked but I’m OK with that. Lately at school we have been talking about the grade 7 Valentines Day dance, I’m so existedfor the dance I signed up to make rice crispie squares and my sister signed up to make sugar cookies. In math class we are working on are math cast video’s whichI had fun doing, In L.a class we are working on our olympic wiki, I’m asking my dad todo one of the pod castsin German. On Wednesdaywe had are last curling session which I didn’t had fun because most of the students didn’t get a prize. I think It’s not fair for most of the students but everything is ok.  I can’t wait to finish my part of the olympic wiki, our group is doing a fabulous job on it, but we have to finish our powerpoint and our podcast. On wednsday we went to see our little buddies to help them on there valentines bags then we read to them. Are volleyball team had a game but I wasn’t there because I was sick. So I had a buey week but I made it OK and handled everything that was thowed at me for the whole week. 

I’m back at school and i’m doing ok. I seen my friends I hadn’t seen for 2 weeks, catched up on work and got lots of homework. Today we were on a field trip learning curling. It was so cool and interesting we learned different thows for the rock, how to brush on the ice and how to slide on the ice. On the way there and on the way back the bus driver was telling jokes and riddles to us they were pretty funny. I joined the girls volleyball team our first game is on tuesday and I know we will try our best. My christmas was great I got just what I wanted for christmas. We had turkey dinner and we went shopping during the boxing week sales and during that week was busy. Latlly are class got alot of homework but mostly math but I’am coping with the homework.

Today at school we did are christmas cracker making and we did it with are kindergarden buddies. it was lots of fun to be with are buddies while making the crackers. We donate are crackers to are sister school Grandview and also Queen Mary, Harvest project and covenant house. Sometimes when we made the crackers it felt great we are helping a lot of people by making them happy by making the crackers. Are total for the I’am Silent day pledges is over 3000 dollars. Now we made enough money for the two water pumps. Now we are making scaves and hand warmers to sell at are christmas consert for medical supples. All of the grade 7′s girls are making scarves and hand warmers to sell. At first I didn’t know how to knit but now I know how to. I just hope we get snow so that I could go sledding a day I just really hope there is snow. I t is almost Christmas a i’m so excited for this year.

Today the grade 7′s had a I’am silent day that means that we can’t email, text, msm and talk for the whole day. I was hard but it was kind of fun at time same time. Were having A I’am silent day because we are doing it for a good cause. We were giving pledges to raise money for two clean water pumps for two villages in Africa. It was also interesting because the teachers also couldn’t talk so we had to do are classes quietly. What I also notice was some of the students were talking but I guess they couldn’t handle silent day. We aslo couldn’t talk at recess and lunch with was the most difficult time of silent day.Also was the 20th anniversary of the United Nation covention. They help kids in poor countries so they can go to school, get medication for deadly diseses. I’m glad that we had Silent day because we’ve all make a difference.

On Friday the grade 7′s went on a field trip to the Vancouver Aquarium. I learned alot when I was there. First my group looked around. My group saw frogs. Then we saw dolphins and other sea creatures. After that we saw the belugas which was my favourite part of the aquarium. Later we went on a tour to learn about rainforest animals and plants. While I was on the tour I learned that Chicklets came from the Chicle tree which comes from the rainforest. I also learned that Anacondas are not poisonous. Overall I had lots of fun.

Today we learned about the aquatic ape theory. we saw a little documentary on youtube. It mentioned about a housewife from Wales called Elaine Morgan. She wrote a book called “A Decent Of Woman” she wrote the book because she wanted to tell the evolutionary theory from a womens point of view. Also she thought that early humans lived in a semi aquatic enviroment. From my point of view it’s kind of confusing but when i’m older i’ll understand.

Tomorrow’s Halloween and I’m so excited. I hope I get loads of candy but I don’t ‎want to get cavities. I might go trick or treating with my friends or my sister but it ‎won’t matter as long as I have fun and get candy. My friends and my sister say ‎I’m not in the Halloween spirit. I guess it’s not there until tomorrow. Halloween is ‎one of my favourite holiday next to Christmas and my birthday. I like when ‎people dress up and get candy. I think this year’s Halloween we’ll be great with ‎candy, scary costumes and safe Halloween fun.
